3 Basic Pieces to Instantly Take Your Outfit From Day to Night

Summer is now in full swing, and that means it’s time to go out! This past year has been SO hard on so many women, so as we all go back to work and back to our favorite local bars, we wanted to make sure to bring you pieces that were stylish enough to feel sexy in, and versatile enough to take you from the office to a night out on the town. Enter our new arrivals.

When putting together a day-to-night outfit, it’s important to keep 3 things in mind:

1.       Comfort

a.       Remember, you’re going to be in this outfit ALL day! It’s important to dress in a way that you’ll feel comfortable in. Nothing puts a damper on a hot outfit like a huge wedgie or shoes that make your feet bleed. :P

2.       Class

a.       We alllll love the vibes of hot girl summer, but when you’re rushing from work to drinks with the girls, it’s not practical to dress like you’re on spring break. When going from day to night, you need an outfit that is office appropriate, but still has enough edge to make it fun. 

3.       Layers

a.       The best way to make sure you get everything you need out of a day-to-night outfit is to utilize the power of LAYERS. Layering clothing, even in the spring and summer, is key to maintaining comfort, class, and style for a day-to-night look. Whether you shed a blazer or a pair of shoes, you can completely change the entire outfit just by adding and removing layers of clothing.

 

Okay, now the fun part! When I was looking to source these pieces, the term versatile clothing came to mind. I wanted to find outfits for you guys that had a neutral color palette, could be worn in a variety of settings, and maintained casual comfort and style as well. Women’s clothing is notoriously uncomfortable, so I wanted to find a few items that were ultra comfy and still stylish. You ready to see them? Let’s go!

 

#1: The Robin Jeans

These jeans are literally life. Obviously, if you’re in an office setting during the day, you may not be able to get away with wearing a pair of heavily distressed jeans.
